It’s A Long Way To Tipperary

The route for our trip to Mongolia will pass through the following countries (if we make it the whole way!)

We hope to make a side trip from Kazakhstan south, down to

The basic route is the most direct route to Mongolia. The side trip is dependent on how much time we have when we ge to Kazakhstan and also on the visa situation (how many we can collect before we go and how easy to one’s we’re missing are to get en-route). The side trip adds a few really interesting additions to the trip notably, The Pamir Highway and Samarqand.
