This is a blog which i’ve created to document my travels. I started it in order to document a trip I had planned, driving from Dublin, Ireland to Ulaan Bator, Mongolia. Unfortunately that trip fell through (read about it on the homepage!) but i’m now continuing the site in order to document my new trip, driving from Dublin to Capetown, South Africa.

Me:
I’ve just finished studying engineering in Trinity College Dublin and am spending the next year travelling and doing all the things I didn’t get to do in college while trying to decide what I want to do for the rest of my life.

My recent travels:
Recently i’ve been taken by the ideas of road trips. I’ve been driving for five years now and the novelty has yet to wear off!

Summer (2008) – Me and two friends visited southern China and Hong Kong

Christmas (2007) – Our family all went to Costa Rica and I also spent a few days in New York

Summer (2007) my friend and I drove to Senegal from Dublin in a 1994 Ford Fiesta

Summer (2006) – Our family went to Kenya.
