Danced all morning and slept all afternoon and evening (ha, isn’t that supposed to be the other way around?) on New Years day. Thankfully we’d booked a banda to crash in as heading back to a tent in the mid day heat isn’t a very appealing proposition. Woke up late afternoon for just long enough to grab some dinner and open my lovely Christmas presents delivered from home!
On Day 189, the 2nd of Jan, Dara and I decided to spend on more day in Diani. I was still wrecked after all the partying and Dara was still worn out from all the ah… travelling… sure, travelling…
We spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach in Forty Thieves, taking it nice and easy, recharging the batteries for our impending Tanzanian Safari!
